While this micro-system consists of two speakers and a central CD receiver of about the same size, it visually fuses into a seamless unit when arranged horizontally. Naturally the two-way speakers can also be set upright and separately – any way you like it. The system is equipped with a skilful balance of modern features and classic user comfort: DAB and FM provide radio reception – conveniently at the push of a button thanks to a total of 40 station pre-sets. TuneIn Internet radio with thousands of broadcasters is at your fingertips for an even larger selection. Concrete music wishes can be fulfilled with similar flexibility: simply insert a favourite CD and press Start. Send music to the system from your mobile device via Bluetooth. Or plug a memory stick with MP3s into the USB port on the front. If all that is not enough, register with Spotify to access its music archive with more than 25 million titles. In any case, you will be surprised how effortlessly the X-CM 66 D fills your living room with music thanks to its 2×15 watts – or your bedroom for that matter, where the individually programmable alarm function of the X-CM 66 D can be put to use as well.
